BenitoLink Website

Over the years that I spent with BenitoLink as a graphic designer, I was able to help them elevate their web presence and achieve a user base of over 60,000 independent visitors per month.

I assisted in organizing their site structure, simplifying their page flow, and adding features and function to their Drupal website using CSS and JavaScript.

Some of the features of the site that I helped to build out include the above “community forum” structure, in which users can engage with each other in threaded posts or in response to posted articles.

One of the unique features of BenitoLink as a news site is that any registered user can write and post an article—every posted article is vetted by the BL editorial team, and then listed alongside the work of the staffed writers.

In my time with BenitoLink I helped maintain and modify the structure of registering users, managed the flow of user-written articles appearing to editors for selection, and designed the engagement strategies for donation CTA’s on the site as well as the payment tiers for supporting members. I additionally managed the engagement with and organization of local businesses who purchased ad space on the site, designed the pay tier for ad space, and built out the ad blocks on each page.
