All about me:

I’m a Bay Area-based UX researcher with experience in managing teams and working collaboratively with key stakeholders and executive leadership. Providing an 80/20 qualitative-quantitative split, I’m lit up by the pursuit of answers to questions and finding patterns in data.

A design generalist’s skillset allows me to carry products through ideation, research, prototyping, and launch. I bring a sense of curiosity sans ego, and aim to drive alignment in my teams by staying centered on the people that comprise them. My favorite math equation: triangulating the midpoint of the individual and collective goals of a group.

Work

I graduated with a BA in Design from the University in San Francisco in 2015; my early career was spent with nonprofits orgs local to the Bay Area and larger commercial orgs—CBS, SOM, and GLIDE, as some examples. I’ve worked within journalism, social services, media, retail, and ecommerce before landing in the B2B SaaS enterprise industry in 2020.

Personal Life

Born and raised in San Diego, I first arrived in San Francisco in 2010 to attend college. I have lived and worked in the Bay for the last 12 years, and I geek out on data visualization, linguistics, and ghost stories. Please reach out if you have any of the following to share: an untranslatable non-english word with a specific meaning, dearly held. A dazzlingly clear (or unique) example of represented data. A an eerie tale of an unexplainable event. Much obliged.
